I can't say this is such a horrible thing. I mean, I know it will be bad TV. But Mathew LeBlanc is super hot.

my wife says on tvland last night they just had a camera on a bunch of people watching friends

I guess they figured "Why bother?"

Yes, I am aware of that. However, by the looks of it, I'd be surprised if it lasts more than one season.

I think I said that about Fraiser. Hehe.

Speaking of which. Do you have any idea how much the cast/crew of that show is pissed off at NBC's advertising? Both shows end in the same month. They call Friends the best comedy on TV ever and tout that it won some award -- which Fraiser won like five times.

All I can say is NBC is now royally screwed unless they've got something really good coming down the pike. No more Friends, Seinfeld or Frasier means no more ratings.

Frankly, I hadn't really been paying attention to Friends for a while, but the little clip special they had before the final episode was pretty cool. Also, I actually enjoyed the last episode.

Well, Fox is planning on premiering their new season of entertainment this summer instead of this fall. Which means CBS will have one less network to compete with once the new fall programming comes out, since everything on Fox will be reruns.

I can proudly say that for its tenure on the air, I never watched a single damn episode of that show. The only reason I know the cast is because people can't shut up about it for some reason. Bottom line: my sister watched it and found entertainment in it, therefore it must be devoid of any value. QED.

I enjoyed friends. I didn't watch it religiously, but got a kick out of the reruns I saw every once in a while. Now I have a life and don't have tv. It's pop culture and i'm kind of curious what is in store for the future of network sitcoms. I'd rather watch those then reality programming.
