So I'm at work watching the hurricane coverage and the newscaster introduces the govornor of LA or the mayor of NO or somebody. The newscaster actually said to the guy "You've got a lot of people with no power in a very hot state. What's going on down there?"
Uhhhh.. a fucking hurricane! Duh!

The news in general sucks. Have you ever watched their demonstration of hurricane winds. Why not just show the damn hurricane. Instead they have to put a news caster in a rain coat and show it up close on that one person. I especially love how they can film a news event and only show the news caster, who is then describing what they see. Why do they bother bring a video camera? They can just play it over the radio.
