I liked it. Definitely a twist on the norm and I like the potential for hilarious comedy. I am happy to see they gave Eddie a nod at some of his dry, well-delivered humor.

In case anyone was wondering, this is the Eddie Izzard t.v. show that I posted about in a thread yesterday. It might have been less confusing if this had been a continuation of that.

Did anyone else watch last night? I went in to watch it with a lot of trepidation, but I found that I rather liked it. I am looking forward to see how it ends up dealing with everything. Eddie was brilliant, and they did let him throw in his typical comedic quips that are his trademark, which was nice. Also, I must say that I was much more impressed with Minnie Driver's talent at acting, than I ever had been before. It was definitely not warm happy fuzzy t.v., though!
If you missed it, I would have to say that I recommend watching it. Even though the beginning/middle confused the heck out of me, I had to see what happened next to figure out what was going on. Which isn't the worst thing I've ever had happen - I'd say that is rather engaging. I'm sure FX will be replaying it all week, though I don't know that for sure. Probably before next week's episode, I think they usually do that stuff (not that I know much about t.v.). And as Markley had pointed out to me, being on FX rather than NBC or whatever, it has much higher likelihood of sticking around!

Great series while it lasted.

Too bad they didn't make another season after two...it left everything unresolved.
