stupid dumb-ass professors.... flexible deadlines and shit are the kind of thing you're supposed to tell your students about, oh... i dunno... BEFORE the day they're supposed to give their presentations so that they don't spend hours the day before working on them when they could have been doing other more important things  |

well, shouldn't the presentation have been done in the time allotted to begin with? I'm sure the prof didn't give you one day to work on it... |

I feel for you. Why give the people who can't whip something up in a single day extra time to do it? I'm a procrastinator too, and everything I do is done the night before. Why? I don't know - but I usually pull it off. I hate it when I do that and turn it in, then the professor gives an extension. |

Maybe the prof is hoping you lazy bitchasses would take that slapshod little essay you whipped together while red-eyed and hyped on caffeine at 1am and use the extra time to make it a good, thorough, well-pondered essay for him to have to read. Or at least give it another last minute late night's work to improve it's chances of being a good read.
If you turned it in before being told of the extension and s/he wouldn't give it back, though, then I say fry his/her ass.  |

it wasn't even an essay, it was a presentation, which is even more annoying, cause now its done and i just wanna never have to look at it again. though apparently this particular prof, i found out today, is the same with essays. why even bother have a due date if it doesn't matter? |
