Modest Mouse- Good news for people who love bad news
Auf Der Maur- Eponymous
Yeah Yeah Yeah's- Fever to Tell (This album is so hot it makes me want to scream)
The Shins- Chutes too narrow
Rachel Yamagata- EP (Her full album Happenstance comes out on the 8th)
The Eagles of Death Metal- Peace, Love, and Death Metal

The only new album that I've bought and don't really like is the Postal Service- Give up. It's an interesting idea but I can't get into it.

Depends on who plays Samus. If they get someone hot and "acrobatic" like Mila Jovovich, it could do very well. Frankly, I thought Tomb Raider was done fairly well. I haven't seen the second one yet, though.

oh come on... they're gonna get Angelina Jolie to play samus... It's inevitable.

I think Mila would do a better job. She's not as high on herself.

I got my hands on "Gin and Juice" by Phish & Les Claypool. That rocks.

The NFG cover of 'The Neverending Story Theme' is the single best punk cover ever.

I just downloaded NFG's "Gin and Juice"

Even though I really don't care for them too much, Phish's cover was better Twisted Evil

I've been listening to The Living End...they're from Australia and just recently got big here (they have a song out called Who's Gonna Save Us), but I've been a fan for a couple of years. All of the guys in the band are inhumanely good musicians. Like, illegally good.

Definitely check them out if you haven't yet. I have to say that their current CD (Modern Artillery) is excellent, but my personal favorite CD of theirs is Roll On (the last one).

From the Screen to your Stereo is a great CD (even tho it is only about 25 min long)

The Living End was the band that opened for Blink 182 and No Doubt last night. they seemed like a pretty kewl band. fun to dance around to (while Markely was trying to hit the balls in the batting cage. hehehehe)
