All of my digital photo problems were solved by the following methods:

1.) Turn off your flash, there's usually enough light solong as there's a window. Photoshopwill level things nicely.

2.) GET A TRIPOD. Seriously. This helps a LOT.

Flash tends to over expose pictures, I usually use something to mute it or don't use it at all. Personal preference. Auto Level in PS pretty much takes care of the rest.

Speaking of PS, I just got CS atwork today. w00t!
