Slightly OT, but every song on Metallica - Load makes me think of playing MUD's and Offspring - Smash makes me think of X-COM

Oh Hell yes, RATM's title album makes me think of Duke Nukem I and II. Offspring's Smash brings me back to Duke Nukem 3D.

Ditto for 'Dreamweaver' and 'Let me stand next to your fire.' IMHO that movie had the best movie soundtrack until The Matrix.

Don't forget "You've Lost that Loving Feeling" from Top Gun. I got to check out the KC bbq restaurant in San Diego where they filmed the bar, piano, and jukebox scenes. Cool place...

As a side note, they've moved Fighter Weapons School to Nevada from Miramar. Miramar is strictly a Marine Corps Air Station.

"Song 2" by Blur.

WOO-HOO!!

If you're a Blue Rocks fan, you also know this song from when Mr. Celery comes dancing out after a Blue Rocks run.

"Under Pressure": Grosse Pointe Blank

I didn't know anyone else had that connection..... It's not that long in the movie or anything, but it's used very well. Then again Blister in the sun & a few others make me think of that movie too.

And for The Stand - the devil says "pleased to meet you, hope you guess my name"... So that's my connection to it

And in keeping on the devil route... The Devil's Advocate - Paint It Black

Flight of the Navigator (I forget?) I think it's just called "get around", but I am not sure of that.

Splash - well, he warps it a bit and sing "beautiful sunshine, coming my way, beautiful morning beautiful day, Mr. Mango on my shoulder", but I still connect it Smile

That's it for now (beware, I'm at Smith for 3.5 more hours, so I will undoubtably think of at least one more, whether I post it or not).

How about Blade2 and "Name of the Game" by the Crystal Method? It didn't make it onto the soundtrack, but it was in the trailers and in the movie.
