Simple Minds - don't forget about me

i see everyone walking away from the high school and getting in their cars at the end of Breakfast Club...

Pet Shop Boys - Send me an Angel

i think it is teen wolf 2, when he is studying with his GF at the end of the movie

There's a song called "Send Me An Angel" by a band called Real Life that was in the movie RAD (a horrible, horrible BMX movie but a guilty pleasure... Ray Walson, Lori Lauglin, and that fat guy who owned the resort in Dirty Dancing were the big names in it).

RAD was great! There was also a skateboard movie around the same time that wasn't Gleaming the Cube.

"You over-rotated."
"Hulk Hogan, eat your heart out!"

I like the guy doing bike tricks backlit by the sunset during the credits, on RAD.

Another of my personal faves is the St. Elmo's Fire theme. It was a big radio hit for a while.

Now I think I'll allow the St Elmo's Fire theme only because it was a huge hit independent of the film even if it was written FOR the film. I think it was called "Man in Motion" right?

RAD, like I said, was a complete guilty pleasure. I mean... c'mon... Bart Connors as a cocky bike kid? Lori Lauglin from Full House being the "hot chick" in the movie against a lead by the name of "Cru" Jones? Oh wait!! I forgot! Talia "ADRIAN!!!!" Shire was Mrs. Jones! Damn... I gotta find that on DVD somewhere.

Of course my mom didn't care for the numerous pseudo-concussions I got from attempting all the jumps in the woods.

Skulls hitting trees make funny squishy noises.

They may, but how else do you get the penguins to come out to play?

Guns 'N' Roses, "You Could Be Mine" - Terminator 2: Judgement Day

Sponge, "Plowed" - Empire Records

and as for 80s Movies, I'm surprised no one mentioned this:

Peter Gabriel, "In Your Eyes" - Say Anything.

For some reason, reading about your BMX movie reminded me of

SURF NINJAS! - Barbara Ann

Oh and wait, there was some really bad rollerblading movie and it had the cheesiest song to have never hit the radio (as far as I hope - I mean, know). Name it and the song, and win a prize!

I know for a fact the movie of which you speak is "Prayer of the Rollerboys", however, the song wasn't so easy. I had to cheat and look that up ...

IMDB says: "Head Like A Hole" by NIN.

more research must be done.
