Axis & Allies can easily be a full board game day all by itself...

I was trying to think about the people that would have no interest in playing axis and allies...

maybe we could have some xbox games going on as well, to stem the boredom when waiting for long, involved turns to finish. Smile

If you are trying to play X-box and Axis & Allies at the same time I will stab you in the back of your head with a knife.

If you're trying to imply I will be anywhere near that, you're dead wrong.

That's cool. Ok, Sunday, it's me, spin, Real Rob (the one that's Rob-sized, not the little one), Blair, and Markley at Rob's. What time is good for you guys? How about just before lunch? like 11? That way we can get grillin' (which, like swimmin', has no g) and eatin' done wile we set-up and take the first few turns. If more people want to come and play some other games (I know Rob has Axis and Allies Pacific and Europe somewhere), that's fine with me, so long as you don't distract Markley... and, for the love of God, no shiney objects (for the same reason Very Happy ).

how does one gain more knowledge in a video game compared to a genre of role-playing that encompasses multiple source books, modules, and additional reference materials?

Did you assist in the writing of the code, thereby familiarizing yourself with the latency issues and weapon timing features. Or, is percent comparison of knowledge or twitch mastery the comparison?

As for games...is there interest in other games...A&A can take less than 3 hours if played fast and loose.

Oh, wednesday nights still has gamers with jobs playing, right? From what I remember, Cabot was a pretty decent player, try your mettle against him. Smile
