Ok, that was fun. Smile

What I like about the way we closed out is I feel my do-gooder spellcaster really did some good.

So in two weeks if I am not mistaken we are playing a one shot zombie apocolypse game?

Should we spend a session creating characters first? Not sure how new/complicated the rules are.

A fairly balanced implementation of Black Mage as a PrC (among other things):

This Sunday 4pm is part 2 of the Ancient World adventure. If any others would like to join you are welcome. You will need a L3 DnD charecter stylized to suit a greek mythology setting.

So far the story revolves around a murder near the city-state Mikylon, where the members of a diplomatic caravan from a distant "barbaric" state, were found slaughtered. The city dispatched 2 elite guards, a local scout, and a translator (converted barbarian prisoner once from the victim?s clan). Also a devote of Hera turns 16 and leaves the monastery he grew up in, visions, "from the gods", of this murder have been revealed to him and he pursues the subject on his own. While investigating a lone scribe/poet is found near the scene, and is taken for questioning. While In the search for clues, a bipedal hoofed assailant is pursued by the party through a cave, only to reveal a strange land on the other side. The prisoner recognizes it as his homeland, which should many weeks from here, not just on the other side of the mountain.

Wow, it's strange to see this thread going again. Brian might ban you for this horrible offence.

Long story short: we played around with Mage: the Awakening for a bit. We've been doing one shot games here and there. Steve is still on Madison, just a different house. I was also in contact with Dan when I was in Edmonton and I think he'd like to play something again. Also, my new roomates (Jason and Amy) are both into D&D and the WoD.

So I think there's a lot of potential here to play *something.* I dunno what honestly. All I can say is that with all my creative energy directed towards designing (and then creating) a NWN2 module, I can not run any kind of a game. I will gladly play in one though.

I think the problem we had with Dan before was that he had to come in from NJ every time. Not sure if that's still a problem. My during the week schedule is a bit full, but I may be able to find a free weekend day here or there.

I had a couple of ideas in mind that I got from WoW; that I wouldn't mind trying out. I have to work on some of the details first though. I'll let you know when I have time and we can go from there.

I should be able to make it, but I want to start early because Kelly is coming back from travel for work. How long do you think it's going to take?
