The only thing extraordinary about this movie was the fact that it even got put into production. Its the first movie in a long time that I actually rooted for the bad guys. After seeing Pirates of the Carribean and X2 this summer I am suprised that this was release when it was. I think that the movie completely relies on Sean Connery to save it and he unfortuatly is not up to the task.

On the upside some of the technical designs were pretty damn cool, I really liked Nemo's car and the Nautalis (Sp?).

The gerneral idea was pretty cool, but they missed the mark on this one. The score isnt even redemable as it is just your mediocre adventure music, there were no stand out themes like in Terminator, Pirates, Hulk, StarWars, or Batman.

Bottomline I say this is a renter or a matinee at most. And I'd only go to the matinee if it were at the cheap discount place.

2nd sign of the apocalypse. When Rob doesn't like a movie, a great evil descends upon the countryside.

Saw LXG with bigsado, neight and hylander. I guess I went in thinking it was gonna be crap so I enjoyed it. The acting wasn't horrible, it was just very stylized. I'm used to vampire larps, and a lot of it reminded me of how players wish they were. the art directions was great and the script only had a few lines that were ridiculous. The tom sawyer thing was kind of silly and unnecessary, but ya gotta add americans if you want americans to watch it.

Maybe that's why we all enjoyed The Matrix. I didn't see it until it was almost out of the theatres simply because it had Keanu Reeves in it. And the movie fucking ruled. But when the second one came around, everyone was expecting the best thing that ever happened to science fiction, so of course it sucked.

Nemo kicked so much ass in that movie. And most of the acting, particularly Connery's, Peta Wilson's (Mena Harker), and Stuart Townshend's (Dorian Gray) far outweighed the adversity they faced in the poor script quality. There were a couple of god-awfully-corny scenes (and lines), but they were few and far between.

The fight scenes were great; I liked the back-and-forth feel of how most of them were filmed. Nemo kicked so much ass in that movie. And while the plotholes in some cases were large enough to, say, allow a huge ship to travel the canals of Venice, the overall pace of the movie is fast enough that you don't spend much time dwelling on them.

Bottom line: Nemo kicked so much ass in that movie.

Yes. In fact, if they make LXG2: Nemo Vs. Pirates, Yar! with Johnny Depp playing Jack Sparrow, I'll probably spend an entire weekend at the movies, watching it over and over and over and over and over again. YAR!

No no, don't worry about me. I'm fine. And I read the rest of it.
