I’ve got one night left in my 10 days of hockey. Unfortunately, it will probably be the toughest one. Tonight is week 3 of my 8 week hockey class, and weeks 3-5 are usually the most physically demanding and exhausting as we get into harder stuff and up the pace a bit. The tournament went well and we had a ton of fun, but I am so exhausted and can’t wait until tomorrow when I plan to come home from work and nap until Lost time. Last night was another great win at the Pond, and I got complimented by a couple friends that hadn’t seen me skate in a long while. I’m not planning on playing again until Sunday night at UD, if I get back in time. Dan and I and a couple other people are going down to DC to see the Nats host the Mets at 1pm. Should be a great time as the weather looks to be pretty nice. I might skate Saturday night with some Bearcats, but it will be a light one for me. Check out FrushYou.com for some great pictures taken at the last few games.
Friday night Lisa and I are going to my brother’s for dinner. He has some Mexican dish in mind, probably an experiment to try on us. Tigger may try to come up and join us, as well.
Other than hockey I’ve been squeezing a bit of Guitar Hero 2 into my spare time. I finished Easy mode with 5 stars on every song, including one perfect a few days ago. I’m 7 or 8 songs from finishing finishing medium and unlocking hard. I’m definitely loving the new updates and hit detection of the second version, but the song list isn’t really as classic and fun as the original. When I’m rich and famous I’ll buy the 360 version which has more songs, eventually a wireless guitar controller and downloadable songs as well. That’s not for awhile just yet.
And finally, Katie Keeports took this awesome picture of me winning a face off Thursday night over at the U.
