Anal-retentive or Anal Retentive?

I believe I’ve mentioned a time or two that Nick is one anal retentive child. Lately he’s taken to not eating peanut butter and jelly sandwiches if the pieces of bread are not perfectly lined up against each other.    If there is a gap of PB or jelly, he trades for another one.
